Meet Natashia Bergen
Born and raised in Saskatchewan and gathering life experience first hand in four of Canada's provinces before arriving in Ontario (Toronto) in 2015, bringing her home to Welland in 2021. She is tenacious, resilient, and a compassionate. Supporting all members of her community, and celebrating diversity on every front. While facing challenges and overcoming various obstacles, she remains steadfast against the odds. She creates innovative solutions with successful outcomes where others back down; she leans in. Her focus on empowering the people and creating a system that is able to support itself is the addition that Welland needs.

Her background in horticulture/agriculture, senior care and independent support of vulnerable members of her community have paved the way to her candidacy for Mayor of Welland.
When you are making your selection, it's not just about platforms, it's about people. Natashia is a prime example of that. She is a blue collar worker, with an agricultural background, active protestor, mother of four, and active member of the Welland Community.
